Stock gearing, 35s, 3 inch lift with a flippac and still towed this 4 door side by side up the pass no problem. Never selling this truck.

I tow a 6x10 with my Honda Rancher a few times a month with my overload leafs removed, I can barely feel it behind me.

Yes sir. That’s on Schnebly Hill above Sedona the day after we picked it up. It’s been very fun so far.

37EA5338-E329-4808-AD93-FEA0A5AEA66C.jpgTowing a Dunesport Toy Hauler approx 4100 lbs dry. I don’t tow with water or waste. Usually carry kids bicycles, barbecue, camping stuff and groceries though. Using Husky Centerline weight distribution hitch. Added Tekonsha P3 controller under the instrument panel. Added a Mishimoto trans cooler with temp control module set to 180 degrees. Added sumo spring blue bump stops. And lastly using the scanguage ultra to watch the trans temp. Tacoma tows great and is way way better then my first experience leaving the trailer lot from Phoenix to LA with none of this shit on. RPMs are at about 2 to 2200 when driving on the freeways at about 55-60 here in LA. Can handle the Cajón Pass and Grapevine at about 3500 rpms doing about 35-45 mph. Great truck in my opinion for towing my trailer. That Husky is solid and tightens up the truck and trailer. No need to go bigger or go faster for me.

I just got back from a short camping trip and was happy with the way my new to me Tacoma pulled my 23 ft travel trailer. It is probably about 3300 lbs empty and then we have the boat and motor in the back of the box and my wife packs like it is extra storage ;) . Anyways 5 spd auto down to 3 climbing here and there but about 3000 rpm which is good. I really like the 4l over the 3.4l and I loved all my 3.4l engines.DSCN1712.jpg DSCN1709.jpg

It's freaking hot. Good time to check out some sites with hook-ups so that I can run the AC. :anonymous:

I loved my fleetwood if that is what the tent trailer in your photo is. IT went behind our rubicon and went anywhere. No air conditioning in ours but if your outside I highly recommend the ryobi mister in the photo above. You put it on a 1/4 bucket of water and turn on the water to mist hi/lo and tfan and it is instant cool. we were out in 39 degrees :). Nice set up btw.

Just "finished" up building this absolute rig. Bought her from a customer with a rusted frame. Waited 2 years before I was able to find a good frame. Ended up getting one that was "recently replaced" on a smoking deal. Got it swapped in a weekend, and took about a week of work to get her on the road.

She towed her old frame to the recycling center (got $50 for that rusty thing lmao). The utility trailer weighed about 2700lbs and the Frame was 620lbs so 3320lbs combined. Pulled it like a champ. 6 speed manual and kept it in 5th most of the time. Suspension is from a 2020 TRD off road including Struts, Shocks, and Leaf spring packs. I also have a KSP 2.5" lift/level. She sat pretty nicely. Good tines.

Had this trailer for about 4 years now. We usually tow it 1500 to 2000km a year, but it'll probably end up being a little less this year.

We just got back from a trip down an unpaved forestry road this weekend. I did an axle flip last fall, and it makes a huge difference getting into back country spots.

It's a cheap trailer, and we generally have to make repairs every year, especially after trips on unpaved roads, but it has served us so far.

I don't think the cost of your trailer has anything to do with how many repairs you have to make. All the mass produced trailers are like that, flimsy stuff unfortunately
