    Roger,
Do you still Have the 23' airstream? Are you still pulling it with a Tacoma?

Just checking.. That has to be near the capacity for a Tacoma..

We pull a 19' without any trouble, and I'd like ro go w a dbl axle, but was concerned about the added weight.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

I pull this farm tractor with implements. Bought a 18x8 trailer with one axle brake. My 2006 Tacoma had no problem with it and neither does my 2011.

    Well....
Been following this thread and prepping my taco for towing. The day finally came and the trip is complete!!

    My set up:
    '09 Taco DC 4wd 3" lift
    Nitto terra grapplers
    Firestone ride-rites
    Prodigy p2 brake controller
    Snug top camper top

    My tow:
    '04 Fleetwood pioneer 19t4 4k #s empty

    The trip:
Left Colorado Springs on Wednesday, Oct 13
Arrived Oak Harbor, Wa Friday, Oct 15
    1481 miles

The truck handled great with the airbags. I was heavy! Weighed it upon arrival and with me and the dog not in the truck weighed in at 10290....add me n dog....over 10500#.

No issues with brakes... The P2 is awesome.
The engine did ok.....at high altitude it is a tough pull...lots of mountains in co, wy, ut, id, Wa.......could def see a difference between the 6 k plus mountains and the 2-3k passes as I got NW.

Gas mileage....not great...averaged about 9 over the whole trip...had one leg where I calculated down around 6.5.

I was moving so I had a lot of extra stuff in trailer and truck....wouldn't load it up that much and go camping regular but normal load should be fine.
I have picture I'd like to upload but can't figure out iPad to here method. If anyone know please advise....

    Out.

Yeah way to represent the Taco's as a trackday hauler! This is by far a favorite of the moto guys! I normally use my T4R to tow my bike but now that I have a Taco now, I'll definitely be loading it up!

I've never been able to get the pictures up using the iPad, but you can include "links" to the pictures, with copy and paste.
Good write-up. I've been considering the 3"lift, but I didn't want to mess up the towing characteristics, sounds like it is a non issue.
    Thanks for posting.
