Would only be towing it smaller distances, and not very often. I would definitely avoid windy times and busy times - I don't want the roads to be too bust with other people.

I got the weight from the Tracker dealer at Bass Pro Shops. I thought it sounded light as well, but it is a pontoon boat - two long tubes filled with air! Perhaps I could fill them with helium ;)

My 21' pontoon is less than 2000 lbs.

So with regard to the law, obviously I'm not allowed to exceed the weight - but what about length/width? Is there a size limit of a trailer as a proportion of the truck?

If I do have probs then I have got a 1-ton flatbed I can use - it's a bit of a beater but it would work.

I pull a 24ft trailer at 4500lbs, no problem to pull, I do have a WD hitch and sway bar control.

K&N CAI, TRD exhaust, tow package, TSB rear leaf fix, AirLift bags. Debadged.
We tow a 24' that wieghs in at about 5700 with gear. Had the rear leaf TSB performed and also use air lifts. Just peace-of-mind. CAI and Catback help in the power department. She pulls hills pretty well, but MPG sucks.

I've posted this before, but it is the only pic I have of our pontoon boat hooked up. And no, I usually don't luanch it this way. This was at our fish camp while the two local rivers were at flood stage a few weeks ago. It is actually in the back yard! We went and stayed this past weekend and I parked the truck about where the boat is in this pic.IMG_2209_9592d0ce38f98ce962e637caedc6387339baabad.jpg

Its a 180 BR with the 3.0 I-4. My family rips on me cause my boats engine is bigger than my trucks. I love crownline, as far as quality it blows my uncles sting ray out of the water. I will agree the are sweet boats

I don't have anything to pull just yet but I feel a whole lot better about my future plans. I am negotiating a 06 Jayco 20BH which weighs in at 4700lbs. I have always had the big V8's and was a little concerned about loading up the Taco. I especially like the fellows with the 24 ft campers. Hell Yeah! Hope to see you guys out some time.

You guys are getting me all excited about summer!!

Is that a newer SX650 stand up?

People these days are too lazy to learn how to ride a stand up.
They are 10X more fun than a glorified couch sit down.

That looks like a lot of fun! Probably gets better than my 25 GPH fuel burn with my 6.2L MerCruiser in my 215. It'll do a needle width under 60 MPH, but it's a Cabin Cruiser, so I don't run full out much of the time.

Sometimes I wish I could afford two boats!

It's a 2004 800 SXR. Kawasaki only makes the 800 these days as far as standups go.
