The boat weighs in right around 2500 lbs. I imagine the trailer is a few hundred more pounds. It's a 24' Sun Tracker with a 100HP Johnson.

I'm surprised it weighs that little. I would have thought it would weigh much more.

And this is the Trailer That I Helped My Father Build. The entire thing is built out of aluminium with the exception of the Axle, Springs, Rims, and tongue. I have towed this trailer once or twice also just don't have any pictures:

Here's mine, I actually took some picture of the setup this weekend!

2012 KZ-RV Spree Escape. I'm running the Equal-I-Zer WD hitch/sway control with 600 lb bars. It's a comfortable ride with that setup, way nicer than a regular hitch and friction sway control.

The mirrors are Cipa universal towing mirrors. I'm pleased with the way they work. I have the hang of them now so install/take-down is a breeze.

Hey bigmooze, you got a great setup there! I haven't been to turkey point in a few years, I should really get out there again sometime soon.

Thanks Mike. The truck is just about where I want it with apperance and functionality.

I found Turkey Point to be a great park. I like the tree cover there and the beach is nice. It's about 3h30 with stops from home, a bit further than Rondeau Park which is where we also like to camp. The Pinery was awesome last October, too. Port Burwell and Long Point are next on the list. I have a couple of trips to Michigan lined up too. Love this camping thing!

I hear ya brother! The gf and i love camping as well and that's why i'm really diggin' your setup. That trailer looks perfect for our needs since we're starting to get sick of using tents and all the hassle that comes with it. Any more info on the trailer? Length and weight?

I always liked camping/swimming at the Pinery as well. Port Burwell is ok but i really like Long Point, the beach is very nice. I only live about 30 - 60 mins away from these two places so usually i just go for day trips down there.

Ever thought about joining up with SONTT and coming out for a trail run sometime? Great group of guys and most trails are stock friendly. We usually like to camp in the middle of the bush with no amenities for a long weekend while we wheel. Lots of fun!

Nice trailer. How long is the trailer and its dry weight? Is your truck short bed?

Looking to upgrade my small trailer.

It's a 23 footer (26 from nose to tail). Dry weight is 4100lbs. Loaded the Tacoma pulled it with no issues.

The truck is a double cab long bed with the TRD Sport

The trailer gross weight is 2800 lb. I like to go by the gross weight, as that's the absolute limit in my mind. It's 16' long, 17'4" from the back to the coupler. The complete list of specs is here: http://kz-rv.com/spree-escape/specifications.html

I have given the SONTT thing some though, yeah. I keep seeing meets and shorter trips on the SONTT forum, but I always find myself busy with other trips. The videos you guys have look like the trail runs are a blast!

Thanks, check out the link above for all the specs. We have the E16BH, which sleeps four. We had four adults (two on separate bunks) and two on the "main bed" (dining table folds down and bench seat cushions form the mattress). Since we were only sleeping, the tight quarters were no issue. During the day, the awning allows rain-free relaxation outside.
