thats a good looking rig there. do you use a drop hitch? on my stock 1st gen, it sits a little nose high, but yours doesn't look too angled.

I use a 2.5" but could use more. The truck was loaded with a big dorm style fridge, luggage, my grill and other stuff from the vacation. Usually looks higher.

gotcha. i always enjoy towing mine because it's tiny. i can use all 3 mirrors, and it only slows me down a little. i do get a kick out of how it's 2 inches wider than my truck on either side.

Do you mean how much drop? 2 1/2" but I could def use more. I have to lift the camper onto the the ball as the trailer lift won't go high enough and the trailer is at more of an angle than it looks like in the photo.

Mine is a 6" drop if that helps.

Not the greatest pic, but it all sits quite level. 3"Toytec ULK with 285/70 17 Duratracs.

Wow, that does look level. I was thinking a 4" drop, I never thought it might be that much.
Off topic; How was your trip John? You should have went to Rausch with your camper like we did. The campground was amazing it had water slides in both swimming pools and was only $40+ per night. Very affordable. Great time!

It's not just the $40 a night as you know, it's the other $100 in gas, $100 in food and bevs, etc., too!:D I'd still like to get out another time or two this year.

Had a great time with my brother and sister. VERY relaxing and great sleep! Cool at night and the crickets etc. chirping. I NEED MORE!:D

That is the truth. But one way to look at it is you would be eating all the food and drinking the same beers if you stayed home. So it's the gas that still gets ya. We still have a couple trips left this year. Upstate NY for the holiday (tent) and o e or two more trailer trips.

Yea I think the same way. It's not like a hotel where you have to eat out all the time. You can actually cook and make the same food as you do at home (kinda). We went to a local vegetable stand and got watermellon and corn then went to Walmart for burgers, dogs etc. We invited everybody that came with us over to the campground and had a cookout. It was a good time!

Where in "upstate" are you going? I'm assuming Labor Day.:) My brothers and I usually head to Fairhaven Beach State Park for that long weekend, but not this year.:( Too many other obligations. Life is becoming too busy.

Yeah, but when I camp, I think all I do is cook, eat, cleanup, cook, eat, cleanup...I do try to sneak a nap in a camp chair too.:D I definitely eat more camping than I do at home. IT just seems to be the thing to do.
