I was out at Hickam setting up the new squadron over there and getting everything up and running. Over at Beale now doing the U2 but I'm looking to crosstrain in a couple years to Loadmaster.

I pretty much just look at clouds and guess what they're going to do next.:jerkoff:

Ha! No, I put out a few forecasts a day for Army/AF bases in Western CONUS, provide Military Operating Area Forecasts for target ranges and what not, and Issue and alert some 30 different installations of Weather hazards in the form of weather warnings, watches, and advisories while providing each customer their desired lead time in order to safely secure all assets from potential damage caused by weather.

Nothing like havin a few Raptors out on the Tarmac when a thunderstorm is droppin 1" size hail

And, I make sure each pilot receives an accurate weather brief before take off. Your welcome :p

Nobody really felt like busting out a camera for some of the other moments. Of course that was in a previous life, now I ride a desk until I can find my way back to the real Army.

I am an air traffic control with the Navy. I know what you mean about the horrible accents. When I was stationed in Hawaii I had to talk to planes for RIMPAC. A big excercise with 13 pacific countries. Do the Japanese like to tell you their life story when they contact you too?

I think the Aussies are hardest to understand. Mostly because their radios suck major juevos!
