My dealership caught my leaking differential at 5k before the recall. They changed the gasket and gave me this to drive for 24 hours. They were very apologetic when they saw my facial expression after hearing "Yaris" and offered me something better if they were going to keep the truck longer than 24 hours.

It is in the 3rd gen section, but some 1st and 2nd gen owners have had a loaner at some point.

Serious question, based on curiousity--even though it makes me seem like an asshole, BUT:

When you are that fat, how much of an impact do you think you could absorb without doing serious damage? (vs a regularly sized person) I'd imagine there is 300lbs of extra cushion there.

My dealership usually had a ton of Tacomas available that they were giving out to all of the frame rot guys, but I'm not sure they will be able to loan those out because I'm sure they all are impacted by the diff recall. They aren't even done sorting out their last Tacoma gaff before they have this one. #letsgoplaces!

Unsure. Good question though. I could see lesser chance to break something... That poor motorcycle. If that rear seat was alive, I could only imagine it looking up as that greasy sweaty ass and crotch came down on it...
