Not a sport. But I have the fn pro wheels 17x8 with 265/70/17 tires on stock suspension. No rubbing what so ever. I believe rubbing only happens when you run 285s

I have the fn fx wheels, 265/70/17 rub very seldom, only on a sharp turn with incline, at a nice speed, otherwise don't rub without the incline! Hope that helps!!

    Thanks for sharing your experience!
I'm in a tough spot. The 70 series looks so much better than the 65. But I think having the speedo/odo off will trigger my OCD.

Any idea what the tire size did to your actual fuel economy? I'm sure the numbers the truck is providing is wrong because of the tire size.

Somebody quoated mympy uoat on my
Actually if you use your phone GPS it will the speedo sligjtly off with the 265/65/17. Move up to 265/70/17 and it will be cilse to perfect. The factory settings are always 1 or 2 mph higher than what your actually doing. I'm a little ocd as well so when I lifted my 18 dclb I did the needle bearing replacement with the ECGS, fixed the taco lean with the shim. After the 5100 on at all 4 corners I added some 265/70/17 Toyo open country at2 SL and my gas milage stayed the same. Actually my new wheel and tire combo is the same weight as e factory 17 sport wheels. So in the real world you will be better off with the 265/70s. Hope this helps.

Mine is dead accurate. I think I was 1 mph off at 72 or 73 mph. This is the best size and should have been the factory size to begin with.

I have the factory mudflaps and definitely want to keep them. I read here that you can trim them to avoid rubbing. Some folks here say that a 70 series will NEVER rub while others say that they rub under specific conditions. I'd like to avoid rubbing at all cost; however, will not be lifting or raising.

I didn't rub, factory mud flaps and front air dam. However I changed my wheels to TRD pro Sema wheels. Try it, you can trim a little or raise the front up a little.

Yeah because I pulled these two, too many times. Got unstuck by an '83 pickup. Love those things. Then I pulled them out.
