    That would be NICE!!

I'm thinking of selling it. I've actually started spreading word around that I might be. No use it sitting in the garage with three dogs guarding it. Got one offer so far but I told the guy (my friend) to think it over because what he had was good for a downpayment of a house and perhaps that might be more sensible?

Well, the main thing about these cars, (especially with yours being numbers matching) it can be worth a shit-ton more to the right person. The more work you put into selling it (and the longer you hold on to it) the more it's gonna be worth.

thanks man. The grill and badges were easy. The headlights put up a fight. I went the cheaper route (3200 vs 5-6k for a suncoast) when rebuilding the transmission and didnt trust the truck after that.

I've known this guy for a long time and he's always said that one day he will buy it from me. But he's also the type of guy who will carelessly toss his money to the wind. He bought jeans that were $200, kept them for about 3 months and then gave them away to a co worker. I told him to think about it seriously and not just be excited and hand over money.

    I'm in no rush.
