It's a 17 foot aluminum bass boat, has a 50hp 2-stroke johnson. Does about 40 on the water. Were taking it up to lake champlain, vermont tomorrow morning, for a week long smallmouth/pike fishing trip.:D:D

Picked it up Saturday. Didn't get it in the water yet. Need to clean it up a bit and get a nice coat of wax on it. Hopefully by Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait!

    Congrats! Enjoy it.

Sweet! I hope you wore sunscreen. The only time I've ever burnt my legs was on a kayak.

Was able to get the registration transferred over to me this weekend and had time to at least get it in the water and see how it runs. Ran great, with almost flat conditions yesterday afternoon she topped out at 35 with just me on board. Plenty quick for me on the water, I typically won't even be going WOT anyways. Think the idle needs to be adjusted though it's a little too low and wants to quit after a few seconds at idle, which is always fun trying to pull up to a dock with decent side wind lol. Starts right back up and runs great otherwise when you're moving so I just suspect it needs to be raised a little bit. Couple random pointless pics I snapped while out.

JTAV, I'm so jealous. Was planning on launching my new boat today but was held up because of paperwork.

That sucks! I had to wait in line almost an hour to get my registration done, but I was good to go then. And that was first thing in the AM at dead low tide so I couldn't have gotten it in anyways. Hoping to actually be able to get some fishing in this weekend.

Ever towed any skis behind the boat? We're going down to Smith Mountain Lake this summer and if I recall correctly, we are renting a boat somewhat like yours... :)
