Anyone own a Wooldridge 23-26’ Supersport Offshore pilot house? Curious on your opinions of it and the Tacoma’s ability to tow it on occasion.

I don't own one but one of my family friends do, I think he has the 25' and said it weighs about 6700lbs with the trailer. I wouldn't tow it with anything less than an half ton truck unless its really short distances. Weight wise you might be within the limits of the tacoma but handling will be horrible. Truck is too small/light weight for something that big imo

Pretty much my thoughts as well but hoping for some good news. They make a nice 20' pilothouse also but that's a little smaller than I think I want.

21ft Skeeter. Pulled surprisingly well behind the Tacoma.

Mine pulls fairly well. Would pull a lot better on smaller tires. Thats for sure.

Yeah I’m wanting to eventually get a lift and tires for my truck and I was wondering how much it would effect my towing.

Ive only ever towed with 33's. 255s and 285s. The 255s I had were really light. They towed great overall the truck just drove/handled better, but thats for another discussion. The heavy BFG 285s not so much. Acceleration from a stop is a bit slow. You're definitely not going to win any races but who is pulling a boat. Get a trans temp gauge, an additional transmission cooler and keep it in 4th and itll be fine.

My day job is marine mechanic, so I can’t have just one boat...

The race boat, top speed 7.5kts

The family fun/fishing boat, top speed 30kts.
This one I bought as a total rotten POS. Stripped it to bare aluminum and rebuilt it.

Just picked up a 1965 MFG 16'. It is old, but this thing is in perfect shape. No soft spots on the fiberglass, the 95 suzuki 40 horse starts right up and runs perfect. Came with alot of spare parts, new trailer fenders. It needs new paint and the trailer needs some work, but ill have it going for the fall striper run soon enough! And for the price of FREE.99, i couldn't beat it.

Near the end of summer I was running out of ambition to get my Seadoo HX lake ready, so I decided to add a new Seadoo Spark as a toy. Design wise they just beg for a sticker kit, so that was the first move since I could print the reg numbers right on the boat.

I did add some Worx sponsons (awesome) the last week before it was winterized. I have the Work exhaust waiting for install in the spring, and will probably adding tons of other parts to that collection before next season as well.
