She aint big, but she gets me out there. Ive had alot of fun on this boat over the past two years with some buddies. Safe to say the most frequent catch is usually a buzz.

Cheers dude! Just took it in for some hull chip repair / bottom paint. Will post when she’s all cleaned up.

My neighbor growing up brought their 13 whaler to the LI sound weekly and remember going over to watch them run freshwater through the 40hp 2 stroke every so often. Same neighbor still has the boat sitting behind their garage and asked me if i could sell a car for them and they would pay me. Said i'd do it for free if they gave me the boat, trailer and accessories and its a done deal. Unfortunately i think the motor was sold a few years ago so I will need to invest in a used 30hp, otherwise its probably going to be a winter project. Has the teak wood, center console and a little extra 6' tender which was underneath the tarp. I have a 2.5hp Yamaha tiller motor i can throw on there or resell for some restoration money.

Debating making it look pretty, or just use it for now since it will be kept in the marina down the street.

    Anyway, here she is haha..

I love those things! I was looking for one last year but every guy selling one wanted too much for it.

Some hauls just hold their value, and a whaler is one of those. Dream boat for me would be a Grady but my god, so much $$$

Yes, people can be very unrealistic when selling these things. Can understand the value behind owning a classic, but to chose between a newer supersport or the classic, for me its a no brainer on the new boat.
Grady's hold value well, i dont even have that brand on my radar for that reason. I think if i was going to spend a big chunk of money on a boat i'd go with the Scout 21 or 23.5 center console Xsf for the sake of comfort and that its a great looking boat.

Here's a few more of the project and tender:

Nice looking boats guys. I got a new stainless prop today, got several more mph and better hole shot out of my Mercury 40. Anyone who gets a boat at bass pro or cabelas like I did, it's worth going to a reputable propeller shop to see if you can get more out of the motor with a different prop. Glad I didn't go back with the same pitch bass pro put on mine.

She has twin 375hp Crusaders. She's fast enough but only way she'll hit 60 is on the back of a trailer.
