It handles it pretty good. My 18 footer had a single axle and 20 footer is better with the dual axles with trailer brakes. Whole lot easier to stop. Gas mileage is non existent while pulling it. :spending:

Has anyone installed foam decking in their boats? I think I only have one more season on my current carpet.

I have tried the cheap stuff from Amazon with horrible results. My buddy tried the expensive stuff also with horrible results. The biggest problems we were running into was getting clean cuts, but also any imperfection in the floor shows through the foam.

Many companies, from brands like Seadek & MarineMat, and numerous off-brand solutions. They can come pre-fit & customized for your boat deck. They are dense foam that offers a soft, non-slip surface for boat decks.

My buddy has seadek on his 55’ Viking, maybe go on their website and see if they already have a kit designed for your boat ready to go. Otherwise the seadek “do-it- yourself template” kit videos look pretty simple.

84' Checkmate Diplomat. It's a great boat feels like a go cart on the water.

Ah…. That’s what I thought you meant from your pic, but I wasn’t sure. We have Marine Mat. I love them, but snaps have popped off :mad::mad: I don’t love that! Ours were installed by the boat dealer

Not the best picture but just got her from storage. 1660 with a 60/40 jet and tunnel. I run some skinny water.

I need a new steering wheel for my Bayliner. Can anyone recommend a sturdy replacement?
