    Not too sure about the placement that low on the center console, I rather install it on the window so one wouldn't have take the eyes of the road much.

    I like what Codder has done - I've use various mounts from Pro-Fit and Panavise for years, however for my own vehicle, I don't like how the mount is on the passenger side facing the driver - Too far away from my view.

    I did build a mount of my own from a $0.58 stud strap from home depot...

    It's virtually identical to the Pro-Fit version, except that I had to drill and cut to mount it (all of that is hidden behind the dash though. It worked well though it is now pretty flimsy since I've upgraded phones and have a more specific mount for said phone... It vibrates from side to side now while driving

    I've still got to do something about the wiring, but I don't want to tear the dash apart until I have a new dash kit, which will be soon :)
