I'll be making upgrades. I plan on starting with Weathertechs, Wet Okoles, and a Bed mat. After that I'll move on to perfomance upgrades.

I'll post my pics when I buy mine (just a couple more months!!) until then...

The immediate upgrades I plan for mine (sr5, double cab, 4x4, auto, short bed), are:
CBI moab w. grill guard front bumper
    Warn M-8000-s
    Toytec Ultimate lift kit
    Leer Topper
    265/75r16 Duratracs Load C
SCS F5 wheels in Gumetal Grey

I have to sell my '01 singlecab taco to afford all the add-ons! Sort of bittersweet--it's been an incredible little truck.

Looking forward to seeing it! I can't decide if I want to add a front bumper or just go with a Crossfab light bar. I'm definitely going to add the CBI Bushmaster 2.0 in the rear though. I'm planning on ordering SCS Stealths in gunmetal after I get a few, more functional, things done. I need a bed mat, Weathertechs, and Wet Okoles at the very least. Maybe even an intake and exhaust system as well before wheels.

So far I've added 265/75/r-16 Hankook Dynapro A/Ts, done the tailgate theft prevention mod, and derped my emblems.

Those stealth wheels are really nice. I think they'll look great on the truck. If you don't plan on adding a winch, I think the front light bar would be better, otherwise it's a lot of unnecessary weight.

I've looked at that bushmaster--does it come with the swing-away tire carrier? CBI has a cool hitch-mount tire carrier that I'm debating...

AZHunter--Keep the pics coming! I lived in Flagstaff for a while and spent some of time in the Tucson-Tombstone-Bisbee area. Pretty part of the world.

Yeah good point on the bumper. I doubt I'll add a winch as this truck will be primarily a daily driver and hunting truck rather than a serious off road/wheeling rig.

CBI does have a version of the bushmaster that has a swing away tire carrier. I'll definitely keep the pics coming, I threw in a bed mat today.

I grew up in Willcox, which you may know is pretty close to Bisbee and Tombstone!

I could have sworn on the 1st gen Tundra this color had the barest hint of blue in it, making it looking like, well the sky on a really sunny day. These pics make it look like that's not the case, that it's a shade darker than Silver Streak.

Perhaps it was Platinum Metallic I'm thinking of, but that memory is lost to time now.

I'm pretty sure I bought the truck that was next to that one... does your truck have the door edge guards, and all weather floor mats?

Good looking truck! It is exactly the same as mine haha. Do you have any pictures with the camper, you can hardly see it in the one you posted. Any mods planned?

My Christmas gift was a URD True Cole Air Intake and man do I love it!

    Thanks,

Just the basics to start. Not really mods but weather techs, and vent windows. Going to look at leveling it and a cap in the short term.

Put 200 miles on it yesterday, running all over and then down to the river to do a little target shooting. 15 miles of gravel and then down some rocky 2 track at a place called Schumaker Grade. The picture is near the Grande Ronde River. Not a place I wanted to take the Suburban I got rid of!

It handled great for what we do so no radical mods now. Great to be back in a Toyota.

    Phil
