OK - Here is my 2014 Silver Sky - Love the color. Has anyone here had the off road wheels painted black ? or thinking maybe darker silver might also be cool

 

Oh I'll figure out something. The red will have to go for sure. I hate red. I'll keep you updated.

 

I too have done a lot of thinking about this question. I'm leaning towards anthracite wheels. Was going to plasti-dip all badges with the same color to match. In my head it looks cool anyways lol.

I just bought a 2014 Silver Sky....DCSB. OR
I am 66 and traded my Lexus in on this thing....LOL... Gonna tow a small travel trailer.
I don't plan on doing any real offroading and was thinking of getting different tires. Are the Rugged Trails worth anything? What do you guys recommend for tires?

 

The rugged trail is called a rugged fail for a reason. If your not gonna be offroad they aren't too bad, but if you offroad at all they get slick quick. Just my .02

My favorite tire offroad has been a BFG KM2. I'm currently running a set of BFG all terrains with 3000 ish miles on them and would trade them in a sec for my km2s back. On the road the all terrain gets better gas mileage but crawling the km2s were my favorite.

Updated on my truck. It is sitting in the showroom awaiting me to pick it up. I'm officially moving from MGM to silver sky

Liking that grill. Something will be done very soon. Like the decal. I think I'm gonna have the stock logo printed in either white or a flat black. That way it's all one decal and not vinyl cut. So much to plan for. Can't wait.

 

Where does one find stickers like that?

 

I went here found a template i liked then sent email request and told them the colors and what I wanted it to say. It was probably more expensive than guys here can do it for but didn't feel like getting on a waiting list for weeks and weeks.

did you have to do any trimming for those 285 and what lift did you get

 

New Toy. 2014 TRD Offroad double cab short bed auto 4x4. Just brought it home. Now to change every light to LED. Hehehehe
