Looks nice. Why not a bed mat to prevent sliding and raise it above the bed bolts?

I built this about a year ago to do some package delivery...I think I spent about $100, maybe a bit more.

I bought the casters at Lowes...if you have a few power tools (or even if you don't) it's a pretty easy build. I looked at several different builds (some on YouTube) and took what I thought were the best features from mainly two of them.

One note of caution...the wheel wells slope outwards as they go up...so, basically that means your bed can be a bit wider than your base...I didn't realize that until after the build and left at least a couple of inches of bed width on the table...not too big of a deal, but every inch counts (imo) when you are losing area in front of and behind the wheel wells...

If there is a weak part to the design, I would say it is the side brackets that kind of guide the bed in and out...I had an air compressor fall over and hit one of those and kind of loosened it a bit...so I went back and reinforced it with some 1" x 1" blocks to give the screws a bit more to bite into.

Everybody who sees it really digs it. The lady who owns the package delivery company couldn't get enough of it and was taking pictures of it...She did mention that she thought some packages could fall over the sides (and she was right), so I built a little fence system that I can install when needed...

I've seen better work in the toilet after a night of heavy drinking and Taco bell.

The same shit everyone else has.
Lets see some more bed slide type platforms. Sleeping platforms/drawers are neat but too bulky for me.

I wanna add a bed slide to maximize laziness

I bought a used bedslide and I love it. It's really handy to load and unload things towards the front of the bed, expecially when you have a bad back and knees. I get lots of comments from people when they see me pull it out. (Pull it out, LOL) I don't have any pics at the moment but I can get some tomorrow. It does limit hauling some things that are tall if you have a cab high shell because the bedslide is about 5" tall. I would recommend owning one.

It's okay, I'll take responsibility, I helped him build them.

Edit: By helping I mean supervising while sitting in a camp chair drinking Coors.
