Maybe drill a hole where the bolts are so it'll sit a little lower?

Storable, I do not recall, mine is stored away.
There are different models. The packed specs are on Exped website.

Yeah, those look pretty awesome too. More money, but they seem to be very good pads with excellent reviews.

I really like it. I wish I had gotten the Long and Wide SynMat, but the Regular is still wide enough for us, and it fits in the truck bed if we need it there.
It does roll up, but I would not call it hiking small. Car Camping small.

If it's warm enough to sleep in the bed, I doubt I need the insulation. If it's that cold my ass ain't sleeping outside!

I hate Summer. For me, it's too damn hot and humid. I stick to sleeping in some AC in the Summer. I like Spring/Fall camping weather.

It's no wonder 3rd world countries are between the tropics. No place to chill, so everyone's hot and pissed.

A prime time to go into Grand Canyon and not be hot .... I worry about the pipes freezing at home.
Too hot in Florida ... Is when they come here to spend their time.

Put this in the wrong thread last night, but here is my "jobox 1403980". Buying new would have been expensive, so I scoured Craigslist for a couple years and drove a twelve hour round trip, but it works awesome and is a ton of storage while taking up little room. Aluminum shelf brackets I had laying around bolt to the back bed rail and I used carriage bolts with the heads cut square to bolt the tailgate end down.

I do not know of others, but I live in a log cabin in the woods. Pipes freezing is a big deal for me.

The JOBOX looks great, tell us more about the rear bumper you have on the floor.
