I definitely appreciate the offer but I already ordered one to be delivered monday. I'm sure someone else will be needing it if they convert to synth.

Remote mounted the solenoid and moved the controller plug to the bumper. My idea was once I am done winching, I can have an adult beverage.

Rotated the freespool so I can access it from the front.

And yes it is possible to fit a winch on an aftermarket bumper with a light bar AND an intercooler from URD!!

Hey Manwithoutaplan, I know this is an odd request but if you have some time would you mind taking a picture and some measurements of the Warn anchor? I am trying to finish up my line but I don't want to make the end loop too small/big.

Made a mount for the winch solenoid to go under the hood. The little J-hook is to relocate the small relay box.

I have a warn xp9000 in my Demello bumper. Pulls like hells.

I've seen everything but a Warn fail. I'll only ever run warn. Work amazing, I pulled myself out f some nasty nasty snow a few weeks ago.

I think someone mentioned taking new winches apart and putting more grease before installing? Does that apply to warns also?

Not a bad idea to make sure there is sufficient grease inside. I'll be greasing my winch and freeing up my freewheel knob when I have the winch out.

I would like peoples thoughts on safety thimbles are they worth it just waste of money :/. I am kicking around the idea whether to purchase one.

I have definitely been considering it but I haven't decided if I want to upgrade to the Warn "Premium Winch Hook" or the Prolink. I think the biggest thing people were saying about it is "What do you use more; hook or shackle?". If you actually use the hook then stay with a hook but if you use the shackle more anyways then just get a prolink.

Since d rings become used fast in recovery situation you need bunch lying around.
