Hooked up 3 winches to this buoy. total of about 30,000 lbs of pul between the three trucks. didn't stand a chance. just started pulling our trucks towards the water. buried steel cable puts up quite the fight.

also saved a nearly gone tundra. tried it with one truck and just started sliding towards the tundra. hooked up a second truck and got it out before the tide got to it.

tried to find out how deep the hole they dug was, and almost lost a shoe to the vacuum.

SMKYTXN saved an FJ as well.

Got my Recon 10,500 hooked up this weekend. Had to divorce the contactor and make new cables. By the time I finished nickle and diming this thing together I could have bought a Warn. I mounted contactor in the bumper. Its not in a weather proof box so I plasti dipped the hell out of it to hopefully prevent moisture from destroying it. I got to winch someone out of the mud already and it worked great. It was generally a PITA to get installed and I wish now that I would have bought something else. But its in, it works, and here it is:

Non issue with cable. Then again, I would be worried about kinks with cable.

To each their own. Just be careful. Inspect your gear closely before each use

It was to keep the shackles from rattling or getting stolen. Maybe I'll unhook it from one shackle and pull it in. There's a sleeve over the line (now all the way to the end) so I wasn't worried about UV. Maybe I should be. This is my first synthetic line
