Yes, every idiot now has HIDs on their halogen headlights which bothers me a lot, its illegal here (HIDs = $50 ticket) but assholes have found a way around it (HIDs go off, and halogen bulb goes on when they change to high beam) so when they see a cop, they turn on their high beams to turn off the HIDs, also the sun is pretty hard (and temps) here all year, if I didn't find it useful I wouldn't have done it, believe it or not I love it at night along with the dimming mirror I put on the truck, and windshield tint is legal here.

2% tint, 20% entire windshield tint, led bulbs, hids, debadged, grey plate covers, shaved antenna, alpine in dash, rockford t2 and amps, rockford highs and mids, 35x12.50x20 toyo mt's, 20x12 fuel octane's deep, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, camburg UCA's, 6" lift w/4" blocks & AAL, 3" body lift, open hood scoop, BHLM, painted emblem, K&N filters, weather tech mats. Next Mod: resevoir rear shocks, Vinyl camo wrap when I'm bored of the grey...
I got windshield tint for the same reason as you, the bright as hell illegal HID's everyones got, sometimes I would be so blinded I couldnt see clearly. Also the glare from the sun blinding me. I got 5% on front windows and 5% on top of the 15% stock in the rear. I tinted my entire windshield 50 at first, it did the job but I really liked the look of if being "blacked-out" so I made it darker to 20%. It looks super good but its super illegal. The dark tint also helps keep your truck cool when parked, makes your a/c not have to work as hard, protects the interior from fading and thieves, and it also helps in crashes. My buddy was actually saved from flying through his winshield in a crash because of his tint. Ill post some pics when I get the chance to take them.

Yeah, I get migraines easily, glare from HIDs, camera flash, glare on a window etc etc really bothers me, I'm a high myope, I even switched to transition lenses because of how much light bothers me and I have to say also like the way it looks.

I want to go darker on the rear window because sometimes driving I get a lot of sun from the back and it hits me directly so while I have the A/C on and feel cool, I also feel kind of hot because the sun is on my neck, but not sure if I should go 5% or 20% since I don't want it to be too dark for me to see when going backwards at night. Good news is that I can get the windows tinted for very cheap, so I will try 5% first if I don't like it I will go with 20%

I'll give him a call to see if he has it, he usually only has 5,20 & 40% because its what he mostly uses.

Pinnacle is THE BEST. Looks great. I went with Llumar ATC. The ATR had too much of a greenish tint to it...and too reflective.

I had Llumar on a car many years ago. It held up great and looked new even after six years or so. I was very happy with it.
