285/70/17, Icon 2.5s, I rub on the first fender trim, and once in a while on the cmc. Need to trim and chop soon.

I have the OME 3” lift kit with the medium spring (can’t remember the lbs). The wheels are SCS SR8 17”x8.5” 4.30” BS -10MM offset

the tires are 285/70/17 Goodyear MTR w/Kevlar

they rub bad some times. I have trimmed a lot on the front fenders and it still rubs from time to time if I am off camber or have passengers. I occasionally catch the cab mount but it is rare. When I originally did all the trimming, it didn’t rub. After about 1.5 years and 20,000 miles, the springs have settled causing the rub issues to return

my brother in law has the same lift, with different wheels and tires and his does not rub as bad as mine. His tires are slightly shorter which seems to help. I have attached picture of his truck.

Mounted some Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 285/70/17s yesterday on some Mickey Thompson Classic III 17x9 wheels.

    I personally love them… but I’m a bit biased. 2C8D2D05-CEC5-4350-B54D-6F04A0653F6D.jpg37BFA2DA-6B2D-4E2B-93F2-6BDD40290B87.jpg B189B62B-8AA7-481E-8FB5-5B8064C09D26.jpg

You got any rubbing with that setup? Did you CMC or anything else?

I’m putting the 6112 at the top notch and 5160 with Deaver stage 3 this weekend with my 285/70/17s. Rn it’s rubbing so bad on the factory suspension, as expected.

Nice, I actually had to double check that wasn't mine except for the steps on mine that are going away. ha Mine sits higher in the front now like yours since this pic was taken.

I do have some rubbing but not too bad and I did do the CMC.
I will be doing a viper cut but not sure how much more if at all will help.
