    You're right, the current rolls through there. I've been all over the place too. Grew up west ashley down 61 and put in at Wappoo and Limehouse. Also spent a good bit of time in Ellis creek. Calm water for skiing and knee boarding back then. Rode out a hell of a storm one day under the bridge. If you're going in Ellis from the harbor and go under the bridge, my wife's Dad lived in the white house off to the right for a few years. Didn't know her at that time. Also went to HS with David Bessemer that lived off Harbor View and family ownes the Bessingers/Melvin's restaurants. I do miss shriming this time of year because I would have a freezer full of shrimp and miss fishing with my Dad that passed in 2006. He knew exactly where to go based on the tides. You never asked if he caught anything, you asked how many. Great times. My 2 girls work at Reds Ice House on Shem Creek.

    Had a 16 foot jon boat with a nice platform up front for casting. Was perfect for shrimping. Sold it before I moved.. Love me some Melvins too. We rode by the white house a couple of years ago and it still looked like a resident. It's white with a red roof. Look at red pin and zoomed in. :notsure:
    My wife said its behind the old Lynn Coleman Florist right before the bridge. Still think its an unpaved road to the house.

    Ours were Duracraft. Dad liked flat bottom so we could get up in the shallow creeks for trout and red drum. War Eagle makes a great boat. Gotta have goals :thumbsup:
