    Hey guys
I'm vey excited to join the forum
Just a quick note about a company called "Srockworks"
I'm building my 2022 (TRD OFF ROAD)
Ordered a full room of parts, but this guys are not really reasonable at all!
I ordered my R.sliders and paid it in full inc the shipping
When the product was ready for shipping , the owner Mark emailed me saying i have to pay add $205.00 US for shipping!
I emailed him that i have paid everything according to your quoted price in the very begin and his excuse is that the software didn't recognized my address and I have to pay more !
I have ordered many parts and yet never experienced anything like this...
Not only he didn't deliver the product, but also sold them (less than 24 hours) after I agreed to pay add $100.00
I don't care how good the quality is ,(as business owner myself) this is not the way you do business with people !
If you or staff or your system makes a mistake , you should be man enough to stay behind your word.....
Don't waist your time or just be very careful he doesn't ding you like this...
    Have a wonderful weekend guys

    Welcome.
I had everything shrockworks had for my second gen xterra. Never failed.

I tried reaching them to ask about parts for yhe tacoma, numerous emails, calls, fb messages, NOTHING. This was telling. They wont get my business again. Southern Style Offroad and Cali Raised have been great for communication and delivery dates.

Youll be happy with your sliders fur sure. But total horse shit you get charged so much more AFTER the fact.

Total BS move for sure. Had a similar problem when I ordered my leaf springs. Only they didn't contact me. Just charged over $350 to my CC I paid with. Even though my invoice/receipt Stated free shipping. Then I got the runaround when I contacted them, wouldn't cancel order. CC company said this was theft. Thankfully CC company reversed all charges, and issued me a new CC. Some of the business practices nowadays are ridiculous.
Oh yeah, Welcome to Tacomaworld! Lots of great info and help around here.:hattip:

I wonder what the shipping delta is. Typically flat rate freight shipping is around $150-$300

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I can see the shipping qoute changing because of demand or the shipper changing rates, but this usually isnt passed onto the customer last minute.

Unless this is actually due to the cost of steel changing from time of order to build time, but again, not the customers fault, and shouldnt have been passed on. I see it being the cost of steel vs the shipper in all honesty

Never had a problem with Shrockworks, they have always been good to me.

    3 sides to every story:
    Yours
    Theirs
And some where between the 2 lies the truth.

    Well, i know.

Shrockworks website needs to be updated in how it works and calculates shipping.
They also need to be more communicative with their clients.
The OP didnt lie, he laid it out exactly how it happened.

Im a fan of their products, i owned everyone you could get for my previous rig.

I believe youre confusing your loyalty with plain laid out facts.

Anyways. I dont give a fuck to argue thus further. Go buy more shrock stuff or dont, i dont care.

Never said the OP lied, just pointed out that there is always more than whats being told.

1 post wonder bitching about a purchasing expierence is questionable from the start. Caveat Emptor.

    Now....I misplaced a stick......has anyone seen it.

You actually did call the op a liar in your statement. Then shit on his post count.

(Like that automatically discredits what someone says)

I have owned 1, shrok product. It was a good bumper. I went to look at them again a few years ago, and read online reviews about length of lead time being like 16 weeks before shipping.

That's an unacceptable timeframe for me, for sliders, personally. I've all but written them off for that.

Well crap. I'm disappointed to see this because I've been eyeing those sliders for my '19 Sport access cab. I wanted these because this is the only company that makes a 30 degree bend, the rest are 15-25 degree, and I want those suckers CLOSE to the body because they're not steps, they're protection.

Now I guess I have to research further...dammit. Mad at OP for bursting my bubble lol.

you should see the caliraised 25 degree in person. They are almost too close to the body to serve as anything more than break over protection. They would suit your needs, I’ll bet.

in fact, you’re local to me. You can see mine if you want.

Sweet. They’re a good choice but be VERY aware of the area by the kickout when you’re on our tight trails out here. They do not function as a pivot point as well as other sliders (with a larger kickout).
