I was looking at shrockworks based on the price for powder coated DCLB with plates, but I managed to snag a set of CBI DCLB DOM with top plate and powder coated for ~$1000 from autoanything with their 20% off coupon.

That was the main reason I ordered them, because I wanted them mostly as the protection, but I can't get it how a company start looking in to the shipping / address at the end instead of getting back to me in the very begin and let me know it will be more before they have made the product....
I have ordered the one from "RCI"(20 deg)even if they were more money
I think they'll be much better quality...

If you actually used sliders then you don’t want them that close. Sliders will end up smacking the body causing damage. I’ve gotten close a few times and even a buddy of mine had his door almost jammed shut

Zero clue how a cali raised rock sliders would jam ypur door closed unless they came off the truck and someone wedged it against your door.

They wont. They're not "that" close and certainly do not deflect enough to hit the bodywork. They just don't physically stick out far enough to avoid taller obstacles that put your doors at risk. These are not "use as pivot point" type sliders.
