Just got my 2010 and its my first auto. Occassionally when stopped for a little while the truck kind of shudders. Similar to shifting from P to R or N to D. But I am just sitting there with the brake on. Normal? It is a very brief, small shudder but thought I would check.

Yep, has to do with rear spring wrap and the A/C compressor coming on. It's normal in these trucks.

Mostly stock for now, I have added a cb radio, various cheap mods and I plan on adding aftermarket wheels and other items in the future.
drJohnson36 is right! I noticed my truck when I first got it, it would shudder at a stop light or when first start up. The engine does a good job of it, I don't notice it as much anymore. So it may get less noticeable the more you drive it.

Westin Bull bar and skid plate, leveling kit, chrome tailpipe tip, window vent visors, dark tint, scangauge2, shorty antenna.
I also notice it with the defroster on.

That's because the AC compressor runs when the defroster is on. Whenever the compressor cycles on it puts an extra load on the motor which pulls the rpm down for a split second before the ECM signals the TPS to give it a little more gas to compensate. Perfectly normal.

Actually it's not your truck, it's Albany. My truck does the same thing when I'm down there.

ddog - LMOA. My wife loved it too. We are both from the PDX area and happen to be in Albany now. Not our favorite place either!

Thanks for the info from the others

Usually people from Albany end up in PDX not the other way around.

Also, here's the key-Stay north of the Santiam River and don't go past downtown and you'll be okay.
