Shut off radio when I open the door

I know the work-around, put the tranny in something other than park, then power off. Radio stays on until I push power again.

Is there some other way so I can put in park, power down, and still have tunes while I organize my stuff and open the door?

 

No.

Option one, shift to N, power down, shift to P.

Option 2, park it, power down, then turn accessory mode back on.

Thats it.

 

No experience with this if you have a key, but might work if you have a key.

Have not looked into Techstream yet to see if this is something you can alter if you have the push start. Have not been able to make it work on mine, even with the Maestro, it's really irritating. I just leave the truck on now until I'm done doing whatever I'm doing.

 

Then I have to wait for everything to come back, and I'm not THAT good of a singer acapella
