Oh ok. Yea I thought about getting the HF jack but I didn't know how well they held up compared to the hi-lift brand.

I mean, the highlift is probably better, but I'm not using mine every weekend either.

Sadly gotta go to the bosses Christmas party this afternoon....I think I'm going to have to skip putting my new tires on the truck for this trip cause I wasn't have time before the trip.

Yeah...I was too. I might go buy an angle grinder with some cut off wheels just to make the cuts and and box them after the trip...
but then I still gotta get the tires mounted and balanced and then trim...so I'm not confident that I'll get it all done....

Brunes I have a few grinders and a few cutting wheels if you don't want to spend the money on a new grinder. Shouldn't be a problem if you need to use it.

Ehh...I'm not to worried about buying gear...I kinda want to start collecting the stuff I need for a proper shop....Small welding set up, etc etc.

It's just a matter of finding the time to get the stuff done....

EDIT: I'm gunna get my hands on a ginder and some cut off wheels tomorrow and get the cuts made and cleaned before I go to bed. If I get that all done-I'm hoping to get to the shop here on base to get the wheels swapped on Tues afternoon. If that happens-I'll may try to fit the top plate spacers in and get an alignment before the weekend.

Holy shit I'm gunna be pushing it.

    You and me both!
I just found out my truck isnt even safe to be on the road!

I've got so much to do IN ADDITION to getting my new skid and AAL's put on.

It's like when I fix one thing, something else breaks... Which isn't that bad, since it helps me stay on top as far as troubleshooting and maintenance goes...

But man! Right in the middle of the Christmas shopping season... AND I have a ticket that needs paying!

Deminsions for the new skid are in the computer! Hoping to have it cut by Thursday, so I can prep, fit, and install that afternoon for this weekend. This is the first one, and I wasn't able to measure the bends I'd need with the mock up I made, so instead of having it bent entirely on the press at work, I had cuts made at the bend lines, so I can bend it with my vice at home and fill the cracks with weld.

Yezzir, Just about. I'm probably not going to have my leafs put on though... And I'll be tempting fate by driving up with my broken clock spring... But My driveline is sound now, and I got some protection up front. I think I'll do just fine.
