    It did.. im just not that much of a fan of the "documentary" style movies.. like paranormal activity etc.. which is the same guy who made the Bay. I liked the idea.. would of liked to see more gore tho ya know. And yes. I agree. The mist was fantastic. :D the book ends completely different tho.

    Also.. not sure if you saw my post awhile ago regarding your avatar and everything else.. my favorite horror movie of all time :) was actually watching it this morning before work. Turned on the tv and it was on. Love it

    I think I love The Thing so much because of the desperation and isolation--kind of like Jaws when they were out on the Orca, just the guys in the middle of the ocean and a huge friggin shark (except in this case it was an f-ed up alien life form that stole your body :D). Oh and the music was perfectly creepy--that bass line---chills!

    Took 23 minutes to get to the good stuff........but there is a scene in here at the 30 minute mark that made me fucking hurt!!!!!:eek::eek:

    I've seen other scenes similiar , but this was a gnarly very well done one.

    It's a "medium" budget movie.....but they did a bang up job in a few areas with gore scenes. I was surprised.

    There's one thing and one thing only that I can't take and it's at that point in that flick. It's not gory or anything but ANY and I mean ANY abuse towards a child (even if it's fake, in a movie, blah blah) I don't want to see it. :mad:
