I have driven a 2.7 and it's so underpowered that it's silly. You probably haven't driven the V6. It hiliarious when poor people try to justify their low budget things.

You wouldn't have been able to get out of my parking stall this morning let alone drive down the road in your prerunner, 4wd open diffs or not is a must where I live. Prerunner+snow and ice=useless, most things boil down to simple math.

yes i have. In fact I have a 2012 Mustang GT. i'm not saying the v6 is powerful but it's not gutless like the 2.7 4 banger.

I bought mine new in 2006. It was silly to buy a used one since it was the same price as a new one at that time.

How the hell are people calling the 2.7 underpowered?

Or did you just drive the faggy automatic model? That would explain it. Those are really just mall crawlers.

you trying way too hard to come up with excuses to convince people your low budget truck is good.

I have no problem buying a brand new $30k truck like many people. Just because you are poor doesn't mean all of us are

so you have no problem spending 30k on a new truck, when you could spend half that, get a truck that's just as capable, and still have 15k in your pocket? how does that make sense?

    Po-TAY-to, po-TAH-to.

My 2.7 gets 27MPG. I've had 1580 pounds in the back and gone three counties. Including going uphill on on-ramps and I95. I've pulled my boss' 4-by Tahoe out of sugar sand twice.

I have no problems passing old farts on the road (Florida, there's plenty of them) even with short times to do so. I've never, ever once had a job to do that I couldn't but WOULD have been able to do if I'd bought the 4.0.

There's nothing wrong with the 4.0, inherently, other than people like you buy them. My 2.7 works just fine and has no problem with power, torque, or drivability. And does everything your 4.0 does but with better milage.

So, in short, you're a fool, Hans, and that's OK, the world needs retards too, it makes the rest of us look better.

Because I can afford it and I wanted a new truck. $30k is not going to break my budget

Just because you can pass some old fart driving under the speed limit, that doesn't mean much.

So I take it you're loaded with money? Its a 1200.00 price difference between the 4 and 6, if I really needed a 6 I could've gotten one,not cause I'm "poor". You're a real douchebag. If you don't have anything constructive to contribute then you should STFU.

People having no problems buying a 50k truck think the same thing of your low buck 30k heap. Just cuz you might have a little coin doesn't mean their aren't plenty more with plenty more than you have. No place to go with that lack of logic. Foolin yourself. You're not king shit any more than anyone else is but your post sure smells like a troll talkin out his ass. Delivered like someone living at their parents house with their parents name on the truck payments with no real job or bills. Anyone here with a 4 coulda had a 6 if they chose to.

My first thought is,"Ah, this guy is just stirring the pot." :crapstorm:

After a moment I'm thinking, "This guy is a fucking jerk who doesn't know better and is showing his ass."

I'll stick with my second thought ....

then that's all about where you wanna spend your money and what's important. my truck cost me 10% of what yours did, and it gets the job done (getting from point a to point b) just as well as yours does. is it as nice on the inside? no. does it ride as smooth? no, but it's a truck. it's perfect for me.

I could buy a $50k diesel truck if I wanted to. I'm not saying I'm loaded with money but I'm not poor like most 4cyl owners
