Would any one know this fix? Or what could be wrong? So my passenger side mirror defrosts just fine, but the driver side does not. Maybe a fuse or loose wire? Thanks in advance!

    Nah, not a fuse issue.

This should help you get started. Should be an easy fix, assuming a loose wire or connection.

Thanks, but that’s my issue, bad with wiring and that diagram is a different language to me. Maybe Toyota will fix for free? Yea maybe I’ll go in and make sure plugs are tight

I’d take it to Toyota. 2020. Under warranty.

Oh, you've got a 2020. Yes, they should. Definitely recommend that route if you don't have much knowledge in the matter. Would hate to make things worse.

Definitely take it in. It's probably something simple, but if it's not an easy fix, you'll be glad your handiwork isn't a factor.

My issue is I have meso pod lights installed.

but after installation the defrost never had an issue for months. until yesterday.

so yea I don’t know if Toyota will fix for free and may say I tampered with it. Maybe I did? Idk.

To me that looks like very light, soft frost. I'd just give a quick swipe with the ice scraper and be done.

Is this heavy California frost?? :p

Take it to Toyota as others have suggested. At worst, they will deny warranty due to your mods. If so, they can fix the problem with some cost.
Doesn't sound like you are very confident attempting the diagnosis and repair yourself. You could seriously FUBAR the wiring.

Since you have pods installed, I would first check your wiring in the mirror. Take it apart and make sure its all plugged in correct, if nothing is in there wrong then take it to the dealer.

If the dealer finds anything even close to being wrong with your installation then they will blame that for the failure and you'll be on the hook for the repair.

Yea, it’s not a big issue, our winters are short here, but it was annoying cuz I get up pretty early for work and windows was frosted. It’s just that feeling u get when you buy a new vehicle, u want things working like it supposed to. I’ll just check the wiring. Who knows it might of been my fault.

Just to give you a idea of how insane they can be sometimes. I was having water on the drivers side floor, they said it was because of the power wire for my amps on the passenger side of the truck... there was no water on the passenger side, but they insisted that the water was traveling along the wire and draining on the drivers side without any water appearing on the passenger side.
