Side mirror Fix

Max trac 4” lift

Hey, does anyone know if the mounting bracket for the side mirrors are the same for second gen? Long story but the mounting bracket on my passenger side mirror broke. I called the dealer and wanted to charge $260 for the whole assembly and wouldn’t just sell me the bracket. I search online but can’t find an oem mirror with the turn signal. So I had an idea of just Swapping out the brackets and keeping my old mirror assembly. Has anyone done this ? Idk if it’ll work
