Good afternoon people, I just noticed my passenger side mirror is sort of broken and I was thinking about just replacing both. My question is I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma, will the 2012-2015 side mirrors fit? I like the look of the 2012-2015. Also I was just thinking about getting the depo brand to replace the oem since I did that with the front headlights and rear taillights and haven't had any issues. Thanks in advance

I have an 08 and put 12 mirrors on mine. Mounting was no problem. All I have to say is if you do it yourself there is a screw on the bottom side of the mirror under a black plastic cover. That screw can be EASILY over tightened and it's going to crack the black plastic which the mirror mounts to. Just tighten a few turns and it will be good.

I imagine the 2015 would probably fit as well but we would need somebody that's done it to confirm

I swapped mine for 4Runner mirrors to get turn signals, heat and the down facing puddle lights. You use the existing Tacoma arm but swap the mirror housing to bolt on the 4Runner one.

Ed, did you wire things to allow your puddle lights to come on with the overhead light/key fob etc? I know you needed to bring in power for your heated mirrors but did you find the plug inside the door with everything else you needed or did you have to run some additional wires? Any guidance would be appreciated. I have a 2015 TRD off road so our vehicles should be pretty much the same. Thanks!

The wires for your turn signals should already be in the doors on any 12+ but it may not be hooked up to the harness if your truck did not originally come with turn signal mirrors. The puddle lights are from scratch so hook them up the way you want.

Puddle lights are on the same circuit for the interior dome.

On the OR, Turn signals plug is in door but it's not active in the OR model so I ran new wires from my DTRL circuit so they operate as both DTRL and turn signals

    Heat is another added circuit

so I'm assuming there is a plug in the door with one end of the wire, but where does the other end terminat? does it go thru the door into the interior and terminate somewhere?
