Side mirror signals

sequential means the light starts at cab side and moves outward when blinking. i just caught it fully lit with pic. would need video to see what it really does.....and yes, brighter than oem

Thank you, I follow what you are saying. Something for me to consider replacing when the heated spotter mirror kit goes in.

 

Lucky for me mine is a '12, lol.

 

Also much, much brighter.

 

Ok so this is embarrassing.... My mirror signals do work , it's just during the day, they are so not so bright and I did order the sequential mirror turn signals and will be installing them this weekend

My side mirrors on my 2022 Trail edition does not have sequential turn signals. I suspect this means that my side mirrors are not wired for the turn signals. I guess this means, I'll have to replace the entire mirror on both sides. Any of you guys know how this might be made to happen?

Sure about that? My 2012s did not have blinkers and all I did was get the blinkers and new color matched covers that were cut out for the blinkers. Took solid black covers off added the blinkers and popped on the new white blinker cutout covers and boom, sport blinker mirrors. should be same thing for 3rd gen blinker mirror.....get whichever blinker units, oem or sequential for 3rd gen and then the color matched or black covers with cutouts. Betting your 3rd gen will have the blinker plug in the harness already. My RC had no wiring so I had to run the wiring from mirrors to kick panel.

 

Yep. I had thought mine were not working too. Replacing them suck because the cover is tight, but worth it.
