side mirror turn signal

has anyone made a mod where the turn signal lights on the side mirrors are turned on all the time instead of blinking only when your turning?

 

I saw someone did it on the second gen but I couldn’t find that link. I’d like to it too.

 

oh ok.. it should be the same wiring right?

 

Probably similar, but locations and color of wires will probably be different.

Looks like there is also a product made for second gen that will light white as running and amber as blinker

I’m surprised @mesojdm hasn’t incorporated this into his mirror blinker mods.

I’m waiting on someone smarter than me to figure it out!

 

I go back and forth on this. It looks good on the bigger trucks, but not sure on our trucks.

 

I wasn't sure with the OP, but the pic (just the mirrors) has me thinking that I like it.

 

Yeah I’m not into the rest of those lights, but I think it would look pretty good just the mirrors, especially with our white led DRLs on the 3rd gen

 

I too was hoping someone already has the answer to this.. I wouldn't mind them being amber even, I'd just like the mirror turn signal lights on when the parking lights are on, minimum.
