These caps are lower than the factory caps, which brings the front of the bed, the tailgate, and the sides closer to all being at the same height.

And that's the problem in my case because the fibreglass canopy was designed with the base being at different levels for a flush fit on the factory caps. I will need to fill in the gaps that the new equally level rails will create.

Here is the link to pre-order the LONG BED SIDE RAIL CAPS

1/8" thick, because 14 gauge is tin foil.

TW promo code is TWSIDERAILSLB to save $10 off list price.

The number of sets that I make will be based on how many pre-orders I get.

Thirteen sets of long bed caps were plasma cut last night.

They will be formed tonight, and then taken to my powder coat guru tomorrow night.

Everything will be ready to ship Monday!!

A little over half the batch was pre-ordered, so get them while they're hot.

150 for shipping to Canada has me out of the game. Too bad. I may try to time a purchase for next time I'm in the states. Nice looking product.

If you're anywhere near Victoria at all use Seawings

US packages are mailed to their office in Blaine WA , and they fly them to the Sidney airport where you pick them up and do your paperwork at the border office there

Their prices are very reasonable , I've used them quite a few times

Thanks. Have looked them up but haven't used them. Have you used them for anything oversized such as leaf springs?

    Nice!!

Shipping was reasonable for you, even though it's going to Alaska.

I agree, you estimated $50, $66 is in that ballpark. Looking forward to losing the plastic. Thanks Chad! :woot:

And you ordered side rail caps and a tailgate cap, so that is a seriously heavy package.

$66 all the way to Alaska from New York is pretty good, and you'll have it fast. That's why I use USPS.

I'm heading to see the powder coating guru right after work today to pick up the first batch of long bed rails.

There will be lots of packaging going on at the KB Voodoo laboratories this week.

Better stock up on beer..... :drunk:

I'm hoping one of them was bound for Vancouver Island! I'm putting the camper back on in a couple weeks and wanted to have the rails on first.
