I swapped out my OEM leaves + AAL for Iron Man medium duties, which are side specific.
I'm going to be bringing my front up approx .75" to better match, and it currently looks like the driver's side is sitting a touch higher then the passenger side. (I'll need to measure again on level ground in the morning after doing another 3 block trip to assist the settling)

Are the side specific leaves likely compensating for the lean, and I should plan to use either identical circlip settings on each side or only a 1 clip opposed to 2 clip difference between drivers and passengers when I redo the billstein 6112s tommorow?

You should keep the clips the same. Possibly, do the quarter in space or on the driver side top hat to accommodate the Tacoma lean. :notsure:

Your post is a bit unclear, but it sounds like you are expecting rear shocks to change your ride height. If so, you have a misconception. Rear shocks do not have any effect on ride height, because they have no mechanism to apply preload on the leaf springs.
