Side step/rock slider question: Warrior 4720

    I picked up a pair of Warrior side steps part number 4720. They we're advertised as rock sider but when installing it looks like it's installed to the body and not the frame.

    If that's the case how much protection can these things offer? Really wanted it to protect the body of the truck from rocks when off roading and it does say small off road obstacles but how small we talking?!

    they are a side step not sliders, no protection. Mounts to factory step threaded holes.
