Does anyone know how much weight the Tacoma can hold with side steps or running boards (anything) attached to the body mounting holes. I just purchased some side step tubes, but they only attach to two sets of the holes (the front and rear), they don't attach to the middle holes, so I was wondering what the max weight would be so that I don't rip them out of the truck someday. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you 'phantom'! And just out of curiosity, where do your side steps attach, and at how many points under the truck?

They attach to existing holes in the frame. All the side steps/nerfs I've seen attach the same way. Mine attach with 3 brackets and 6 bolts (per vehicle side).
