Side wall puncture

    I have sitting here a practically brand new KM2 with a extremely small sidewall puncture, and I have been wondering for trail use only I would switch back to my steelie space on the road, if I could plug it and mount it on a rim? Thanks for the advice below is a picture of the tire.

    I think sidewalls are the area where you AREN'T suppossed to plug...but I'm not sure.

    yeah thats what Ive heard, but just to get me back from the boonies onto the street.

    If I did that on a trail, I'd try plugging it to get home.

    But if I were sitting at home in my nice comfortable garage; well then, I'd throw it away and get a new spare. I want to be able to rely on my spare in the event that I need it.

    YMMV and objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear. Special effects were used in the writing of this advice, but no animals were harmed.

    Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
    Quite a few of our work vehicles were patched in the sidewalls. They can hold for quite a while, but mud will tear them out pretty quickly.
