Ok so as an early Christmas Present I finally decided on a set of sliders for my 09 Access Cab. It was a really lengthy process to decide because we have an upcoming 6 month overland expedition that we are preparing for and had much to consider in the process. In the post below I am going to explain the process I went through and why I chose everything and some pictures.

My requirements for sliders were as follows.

    1. Tough, yet easy to maintain ( dont want to fix while on the road )
    2. Light enough to keep parts long term ( weight breaks vital parts, toyota designs for a reason)
    3. Good looking but more importantly functional.

The companies I was looking at (after running through my requirements) were demello, cbi, relentless fabrication, and avid offroad. After tons of comparisons on weight, design, and cost I chose Relentless Fabrication. I liked the hybrid style slider that gave me what seemed to be the best of both worlds, functions amazing, cost effective, and extremely efficient. The best part is they look amazing. I talked to Eric ( owner ) of Relentless Fabrication and asked him so many questions he probably wanted to punch my face ! But he answered everything. One thing I like about dealing with Relentless is that he really took the time to explain his products to me and also that he was really able to understand my needs and fill them with what we BOTH felt was the perfect product. I was so confident in his product line after my research that I even drove 5 hours up to his shop in Oregon to have them installed.

When I arrived at Relentless Fabrication I asked Eric if he was cool with me "asking" him things while he worked. He said he had no problems with that, but I dont think he realized how much I was going to talk. I think I did not shut up for 3 hours! lol. And again thanks for not punching my face!

    Relentless, Relentless at work
You can see first hand why the shop is called Relentless. From start to finish he focused on getting the sliders on my truck, let no detail go easy, and really worked his ass off! The lines were clean and he took the extra time to do it right. During the whole process he allowed me to take pictures, asked questions, and was nothing but honest, hardworking, and great to work with. He answered every question I asked without hesitation and I will hopefully be able to buy more from him before I go.

They look great. Just curious why he calls them hybrid? Is it the use of both square stock as well as steel tube that makes them hybrid?

Ya he uses square steel for the frame and most of the slider. It makes them stronger than the regular rounds and I noticed that it helped the hi-lift grip as well. Also when you look close it gives a really really clean look under the truck. I know thats not really a function but it looks great.

So I just got my hi-lift mount painted and FINALLY put on the truck. It took forever since its freezing cold here! I had to run the space heater for 3 hours to get the garage to 60!

    Loving the look thanks ATO.

So I figured since I have read a few posts on here about on board air, that I would chime in. I got the new compressor from arb (high output). Its rated to run both air lockers, and fill up tires. It comes with a mini air tank and can fill my tires from 3psi up to 45 in just under 7 minutes each (cold). I have gone with other guys who have the same set up but also have lockers and they have almost no issue with the pump coming on all the time. When it does its not super loud.

Well after going back and forth with people on suspension, I finally called Wheelers Off-Road and got a great suspension kit from them. Jason was awesome to deal with and really answered my questions in stead of trying to sell me a kit. Once I felt my kit would suite my very specific application I ordered from him. Inside of 2 days I had my kit and was ready to go. The only issue was the leaf spring came in 2 days later because it was shipped direct.

Thanks to another member on this forum I was able to get the entire kit installed and I am more than happy. This is how the kit plays out, I will add pictures after I get alignment.

Purpose: Provide a minimum of 2.5 inches of lift under load without compromising handling and allow for more weight to be carried properly.

Kit: OME 885's, Bilistein 5100's @ 0, top plate spacer 1/4, tsb aal, 2"aal, steel extended brake lines, and light racing uca's.

I tested her out last night and MAN am I happy.
