Hey Steve! I'm still planning to go. My son is planning to have a friend over for the weekend and he will probably stay home with my wife. So, it looks like I will be going solo. I may bring Gatsby (the pup) along for company. Hope you make the trip.

 

I may come up solo as well. I've got the time off approved, so baring any unforeseen issues, pretty sure I'll make it.

 

Steve, are You going up on Friday? Maybe we can Tacovan. @uhplifted, you up for meeting at the bottom of Cajon pass and caravaning up?

Haven't seen @bigbarlo chime in for a while.

 

Gonna hopefully try and talk to him some tomorrow night at the arcade. If it comes down to it we can probably get a paid campsite if we have to. I'll try and do some more research this weekend

Are we doing Eastern Sierras, or Lake Shaver side?

 

I was thinking we were doing Eastern Sierras (Mammoth area) but I'm open to either. It's all beautiful country!

 

Paid campsite but looks like a decent place. It's in the hills outside of Bishop. Not familiar with any yellow post sites up there...

Tioga Lake Campground, Summerdale Campground, Bass Lake Recreation Area, Sage Flat Campground
A few other potential primitive camp sites that could work...

 

Were you able to talk with Chan at the arcade? Any updated plans for this trip?

 

I wasn't able to make it. So no updates. I might end up not being able to make the trip as well unfortunately

 

This is the first time I've said I might not be able to make it. Unfortunately sometimes things come up that get in the way. I'm trying to figure a way around it so I can still go, but I'm not 100% on it.
