So much pro and con out there. I have one, been a 100% reliable range gun, and I can't replicate all the uncommanded discharges out there. However, I'm having second thoughts about carrying it, since there's that .001% chance out there. Has anyone actually had a problem with theirs?

Would you have unprotected sex with Charlie Sheens ex? He is undetectable....

That is my opinion on the Sig 320 for carry duty.

Giddyup. And I've had a P220 for years and really like it. I wrote Sig and told them I'd like them to buy my 320 back, since the aftermarket value is now about zero. They sent me a reply saying that it's totally reliable, thoroughly tested, etc. I doubt I'll buy any more of their products.

Sounds like Toyota with the TT V6 in the Tundra. Fixed my ass.

Sad thing we as consumers get burnt once in a while. I was burnt by Kimber and will never buy another product from them again due to how they handled my failure to feed issue.

I never fired a P320. My winter carry (preferred carry) is a P226. It’s too big for summer so my go to is a Kimber Micro 9. I’m not a fan of the Micro 9. With the hammer in half cocked position and safety on, an accidental pull of the trigger will release the hammer. It’s a 1911 without the grip safety.

I had a 226 in the navy and 15 years after. One of the best weapons I ever owned. I actually traded it for my Kimber and regretted that to my core.

The Sig 365 Legion feels amazing in my hand.

Another weapon that I have really liked it the CZ Shadow II. I wouldn't mind snagging up a Shadow II carry. They were not out at the time of my retirement. This winter I plan on sending it off to Cajun Gunworks and get the full Cajun work over.
First shot at 20 yards with a combat hold. I'm good with that.

You know, I have a Micro 9 and like it - altho I don't carry it half-cocked, but hammer down. I do like single action autos, but not too comfortable carrying one in Condition One, unless I had a holster with a hammer loop.

The guy running Sig today is the same guy that ran Kimber into the ground.

Re: Kimber. I've owned three of them, but all from at least 10 years ago. When did their quality control start to go downhill? My Match .45 is really nice. As for Sig - after I wrote them and asked them to buy my two P320's back, they wrote back that the internet was wrong and the pistols were fine and 'thoroughly tested'. But my aftermarket value on them is still about ZERO. They are okay range guns I guess - but some ranges won't even permit them.

Sig has done much better with their hammer fired pistols. Just saying...

When Kimber started in the 1911 market around 1997 or so they were an incredible value in the 1911 world at the time. Ron Cohen took over somewhere around 2000 or so. I don't remember what year exactly. The first thing he did was pull the R&D budget and started putting it into glossy ads on gun magazines. Their quality quickly went down hill. He left around 04 or 05 and took over Sig. It took years for Kimber to get back on track. For years their guns were hit or miss (pun intended) I have one from 98 that's been nothing but excellent. Sig started taking a downhill slide probably around 09 or so. Mabey a little sooner. Sig has been up and down since then. In the last ten years or so they've been scoring up military contracts. This looks really sus as they have also been hiring many former generals. Sig has handled the 320 debacle in a way that would make bud light blush. I personally wouldn't buy a 320. While the chances of getting a bad one are pretty slim there refusal to address or at least claim that they fixed it looks pretty bad.

glk - thanks for that info. From what I've learned, internet hype aside (I think Ian McCollum has the straight dope on this) - its a ganging of tolerances problem, along with design. I liked the design as I'm a 1911 / hammer guy, and the trigger on the 320 was good for a striker gun. Sure, they're probably 99% fine, but that's not good enough. Had Sig recalled and replaced them, they'd be better off in the long run. Clearly they dont care about customers since they have the military contract.
