When I get a few minutes.:D You have a bunch of pics in your gallery? I haven't looked yet....

What app are you using? Photoshop (at least CS2 anyway) has a "save for web" option that lets you adjust quality to change the file size. Paint.net (www.getpaint.net) has a quality slide bar when you save as a .jpg file, and updates the file size in the upper right corner as you move the bar.

Any other app you have to manually adjust the quality of the jpg image to cut the size down.

I found on paint net if you go top the image drop down menu you have the option of adjusting the image size and canvas size. I just changed my image y-axis to 100 tall and then adjusted the canvas to 500x100. The picture fit in there just fine.

I usually start out with a new canvas sized at 500x100 so I see how things look at that size first. :D I zoom in if I need to tweak small details or clean up edges. Then I only need to tweak the quality to get it down to 15k as I'm saving it.

It's working now. An edit isn't enough.
