I just signed the papers tonight on my 2011 DC TX Pro. I ended up getting the auto. I drove the 6 spd and didnt like it. I know it isn't a sports car, but I still didn't like it. I have my 03 Vette for the 6 spd.
I get to pick it up on Saturday. They are doing the rustproofing and undercoating for me. I told them that had to be part of the deal because I didn't want my frame to rust out. I can't wait till Saturday.:D:D:D

    Congrats!

Edit: Did the dealer give you a hard time about throwing in the undercoating and rust protection? I want to try to do that when I finalize me deal. Thanks!

I sacrilegiously peeled off the TX Pro bedside decals from mine upon delivery. The salesman's comment? "Some people would kill for that sticker." - lol

The base was a 2010 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 with a 4.0-litre V6 DOHC 24V VVT-i engine making 174kW (236hp). The transmission is a 5-speed automatic. Some modifications include Bilstein 5100 Series shocks plated in cadmium, genuine Toyota lightweight aluminium tube steps with black finish, a TRD stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and TRD 16 X 7.5 off-road wheels inside BF Goodrich all-terrain T/A KO LT285/75X16 tyres. The young at heart will appreciate the TX Pro passenger side graphic design inspired by such high-energy events as organised by SCORE International and others.
Equipment already installed in the factory car includes fog lamps, chrome grille surrounds, colour-coded bumpers and a fibre-reinforced sheet molded composite (SMC) inner bed with steel outer panels. Passenger comfort creatures include cruise control, a leather steering wheel with audio controls and TRD floor mats.

these come stock with 285's? and to fit 285's i'm assuming that means they come with a lift too?

i dont know where he got that description, but on the toyota site, all you get is a trd catback, trd exhaust tip, the TX pro bed stickers, the fakelocks and ruggedfails, and the trd O/R package...my only question is...how much extra do they charge for this? 2k? cause the TRD O/R already comes with the rugged fails... so all your really buying is a trd catback, some wheels (which on toyota.com are 219$ a peice) and a catback exhaust

okay. the one in the link he posted definitely has 285's and a lift. must have just been a show truck for the concept or something.

yeah, that's a lot of money for a few minor things. heck, the trd off road is a lot of extra money for some minor things. a plain v6 4x4 would be much easier to pay for every month.

I tried to find a txpro Double Cab on the lot a week or two ago and all my local dealer had was an access cab. it was stickered at $33,088 USD. the txpro pkg was $1699 on top of the cost of the trd pkg.

lol even if i liked those wheels, 219 a piece = 876 for all 4...maybe 500 for the catback?

so thats close to 1400? wheres the other 300$ coming from? 300$ to install a catback?!?
