I got smart and married a mechanic. Not only does she not care if I mod my truck, she endorses it! The more I mod my truck the more she can mod her car/motorcycle.

    It's a win/win.

Yep, I always have to "sell" the wife on why I need the latest mod .....but she's reasonably supportive as long as I don't spend a lot. Also she agreed I get to spend All my Overtime money strictly on mods!!

I get the "you're an idiot" look whenever I bring anything up about the truck now.
I did however get her to agree to the front plate bumper when I showed her a thread a guy made when he hit a moose or other large object in Montana or somewhere. She hates it and says it looks ugly, but she approved the purchase :)
Now I just gotta figure out how to get the high clearance rear and rest of the skids. Maybe someone should run over bambi and show where he ripped the driveline off and got hung on the rear bumper?

Blacked out emblems, Weathertech liners, LED interior, tag, and 3rd brake light, reverse light mod, rear TSB, rear diff. breather, added black factory running boards, OR tow hook, and rhino lined UWS low profile box.
Doesn't mind as long as it's not outrageous. Like Wet Okoles. I was considering them until she put it as, "That's two truck payments." I went for the $8 one from Wally World that slips on and off in about 2 seconds. Just needed something other than a towel to avoid soaking my seats with sweat after the gym. Glad she brought me back to reality.

My wifey, the chick in my avatar, loves the truck and wants to see it modded as much as I do.

I don't ask, I just order stuff and install when I want. She goes out, sometimes says "looks nice" or "when did you get this?" very supportive.

Usually I get the "how much did that cost" Schpeel after I throw the piece on my truck, had this have been during the time I owned my GTO I would had never heard the end of it because I worked on it more then her, but now that this thing is brand spankin new, she doesnt give a flying rats ass because I make enough to where it's not a problem at all.

She still asks me the how much did that cost deal though, which I tease her about all the time, haha. I call her T-Rex because she's tyrannical-like sometimes, she laughs because it's true. I sometimes make the roars of one and do the skimpy little arms motion too.

    Hahaha good times :D

We have our respective hobbies so we trade off. She buys a few less expensive things for her crafting, I get one moderately expensive thing for the truck.

I usally get the do you really need that, (My wife hates my truck she would rather have a Jeep.:))so I order first and tell her later works best. She gets mad but she gets over it quick. I notice too if I buy her something she wants first she doesn't give me a hard time.
