I'm running a 3 inch lift on 16x8 -25mm wheels with 285/75R16 tires. As mentioned, I had stock UCAs for the entire life of the truck until this past month, when I installed Freedom Off-Road UCAs to get my geometry back and improve highway driving. I had about a 1.x degree caster (as good as the shop could do with the stock UCAs), but now I have 4.x degrees, which I thought was supposed to push the wheels forward, towards the front bumper and away from the cab mount.

As mentioned, I am now rubbing really bad on both passenger and driver side at full lock going forward and even worse in reverse when not even in full lock, this was not an issue before with the stock UCAs. I will add that I do have mud flaps, but like I said, this was not an issue, and the rubbing is reaching the cab mount when it wasn't before.

I would have expected to have significant rubbing on my front fender liner/bumper after increasing the caster from 1 to 4, but I can't comprehend why it's the opposite. Anyone have any ideas of what possibly could have gone wrong?

I think the SPC UCAs are the best bang for the buck for this solution. You can set the caster to 1* or 0* at the UCA, max the caster at the LCA, and then bring camber into spec with the UCA (and possibly a bit of LCA). You have more options.
