    I just signed into escrow last week as well, should be closing before 3/25.

    Now let's see some pics!! What's the specs on the house? Sq.ft, BR, Bath, etc? You got quite a deal on it...mine sold for 450k in 06, buying for 235k :)

    I don't have any pics with me now but it's 3 bed 2 bath 1646sf with a fully remodeled kitchen with high end professional appliances. The first garage is a 2 car tandem and it's about 30' long you can drive right out the back of the garage into the back yard where there is another 2 car garage with a tool storage on the side and heat & AC. the lot is .26 acres so i got some landscaping to do.

    Yes I too looked at the garage first, while I didn't have the borrowing power most of you had on TW, I bought my house in 2001 1100sq ft under air, I was single then, but the garage was 550 sq ft with TWO doors, one into the kitchen, (and I do cook and grill, more than almost every one of my past girlfriends) and one into the master bath leading into the Master Bedroom from the garage.

    Work on things in garage have a beer or two, remember I am dirty from working in a garage, can't go outside to take a bathroom pit stop, too many neighbors, cant walk through the house all dirty, voila! Problem solved. Also Laundry is located in garage also, so from master bath laundry hamper out the door to machines to do laundry. The quickest way from point A to point B is a straight line, so far it works out for me just fine.

    Back to the OP, good deal on the house, I couldn't beleive it once they gave me the keys. First thing I did was paint the Garage and build my work bench. The list goes on but Congradulatons to you.
