Signs of 3rd brake light leaking.

    I would have def power washed the shit out of the new light before i re-assembled anything

    That would work great if a long 10mm would fit the diameter. Definitely add a magnet or stuff tape like others have said to not drop the nut. I went and bought the MESO Customs 3rd brake light thinking how cool they are, but I'm not sure it's actually legal to use in Virginia. So I want an easy option to replace the light as needed to pass inspections.....I know....the vanity of it all. lol

    There shouldn’t be any reason it’s not. It has the brake lights… check, it turns on… check.

    I'm even surprised they look that closely come inspection time at that...

    Probably should’ve! Time will tell! I made sure the back of the cab where the gasket meets was very clean.. a alcohol swab worked well for that

    I recently discovered that my third light is leaking. Is there any clue to how many Tacoma’s are effected with this?
