Silly question. Is the chain supposed to be hanging through the spare?

    Prius Plug-in has a bigger battery. Looks like it takes up the space previously occupied by the spare.

    Interestingly, I never had to use a spare in 15 years of driving.

    I took the chain, looped it around and put a lock on to keep my spare tire where it is supposed to be. Will try to remember and get a picture of it later today.
